The Public Engagement and Festival Manager plays a pivotal role in the continued success and strategic growth of the national Being Human festival, as well as being instrumental in the development of new initiatives for humanities public engagement at the School of Advanced Study, University of London.
The post holder will oversee the success of the Being Human festival, including the programme design, implementation, budget, evaluation, fundraising, training, and relationships with stakeholders and partners.
The post holder will work with the Chair of Public Understanding of the Humanities, responsible academic leads, external funding bodies, and partners within and beyond the academic sector to manage the festival and the School’s wider public engagement portfolio, contributing to their strategic development with particular reference to sustainability and growth.
