Are you artistic? Do you like expressing your thoughts and feelings through art? Do you speak more than one language? If so, come along to 'The United Colours of TLC', where you will have the chance to create and take home your own linguistic portrait and talk about it with Judith Hamilton, a Linguistics lecturer from the University of Wolverhampton.

The activity is for you and your family to get together and talk about and express the importance of languages. Create your piece of art on which you can show and reflect on how great it is to be able to speak different languages, and which language you are most attached to and love. Compare your artworks with different family members across the generations. You can even record your conversation for inclusion in a podcast, if you wish. The event is free and suitable for families and children aged 6+. All materials will be provided.
