Imagine drawing a portrait – it’s an intimate process of witnessing and recognising. Join the workshop to do just that! But instead of drawing a person’s face, participants will sketch a public park, its spaces, and diverse uses. After some drawing exercises, participants will sketch whilst wandering through the park, then regroup for a discussion to share ideas for the park’s renewal - considering diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

The “basecamp” for this event will be the Hill Station Café, located on Kitto Road, between the Upper and Lower Telegraph Hill Parks. Here the group will start with drawing exercises, getting familiar with the notion of "drawing to see" before wandering in the park, sketching its spaces with an eye on diversity and potential for renewal. After ca. 45 minutes, everybody recongregates at the Hill Station Café for a discussion over tea and cake (vegan options are provided).
