Come along to Leicester Museum and join the Arch-I-Scan Project research team to learn about how cutting-edge technology can be used to shed new light on eating and drinking in the Roman world. Supervised by project members, visitors will use their own mobile phones to record Roman pottery fragments, and will learn about how this project is using artificial intelligence to identify the remains of Roman pots. Sessions will last 30-45 minute, and will comprise of hands-on activities and videos.

It is highly recommended that you book via Eventbrite to secure your place (individually or in small groups). Sessions are available for the following times: 11.00-11.45, 11.45-12.30 and 13.15-14.25. Drop-ins are also welcome throughout the day as availability permits.
