Why Didn’t They Leave?

November 12 - November 22

This is an online event.

‘Why Didn’t They Leave’ is the premiere of a short film entitled Ending Abuse by award-winning filmmaker Shane Nelson. This specially created film draws upon cutting edge research into the hidden experiences of domestic abuse victims. It sheds light on a world where reality is subverted and self-identity sabotaged, being held hostage to an abuser’s drive for domination and control.

‘Gaslight: Domestic Abuse Under the Lens’ – a screening of the 1944 film Gaslight followed by a discussion, will take place on 19 November between 19:00 and 21:30.
