Walking Free

Join this guided walking tour to discover the hidden connection between Uxbridge and British slavery and abolition. Visit a former residence of leading British abolitionist, William Wilberforce, and the grave of former African slave, Toby Pleasant.
Beginning at Uxbridge Library, the walk will be approximately 3km. Throughout the walk there will be short talks and moments to discuss the discoveries made along the way.

This walk will be repeated on Friday 15 November between 10:00 and 12:30 and on Saturday 16 November between 10:00 and 12:30.
