Understanding our multilingual world

November 17 - November 25

Taking place in Belfast (East Belfast Mission), Cambridge (Michaelhouse Cafe), Edinburgh (Grassmarket Centre) and Nottingham (Meadows Library), this exciting exhibition aims to explore languages and multilingualism through photography. Taken by members of the public, photographs will display what multilingualism means to different people and their communities. You are invited to explore multilingualism, and how visible it is in your environment, through the themes and messages that emerge from the photographic contributions.

The exhibitions will be formally introduced by a member of the team at the following times in the various locations:

East Belfast Mission, Belfast 18-25 November (open daily) Meet members of the MEITS team on Tuesday 21 November Refreshments available 12:00pm-2:00pm

Michaelhouse Cafe, Cambridge  17-25 November (open Monday-Saturday) Meet members of the MEITS team on Saturday 18 November, 2:30-4:30pm Refreshments available 3:00pm-4:00pm

Grassmarket Centre, Edinburgh  Saturday 18 November (1pm-5pm) Meet members of the MEITS team Refreshments available 2.30pm

Meadows Library, Nottingham 17-25 November (open Monday & Wednesday- Saturday) Meet members of the MEITS team on Saturday 18 November, 2:00-4:00pm Refreshments available
