The Wild West of Scotland

20 November, 2020, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This is an online event.

Come along to this multimedia storytelling event combining audio-visual, photographic, fictional and journalistic accounts of some remarkable moments in Scottish-Native American history. From Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show (1891-2 & 1904) to First Nation actors in Season 4 of Outlander, Scotland has played host to a rich tapestry of colonial culture over the years. Join in to explore the complexities of this relationship within a decolonial context.

This event is part of the hub series organised by the University of Glasgow.
