The Secrets of the Selkies

22 November, 2019, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Through music, songs and fascinating visuals this show will explore the tale of the selkie-hybrid creatures that take the form of both humans and seals. Discover how they get trapped on land and have to navigate human relationships.

The performance features Dr Fay Hield from the Department of Music at The University of Sheffield and musicians Lucy Farrell and Terri Windling.

This event is part of the ‘Myth, Dream, Love’ hub series organised by The University of Sheffield.
