Southwick, Sunderland is a community with a rich heritage, a distinctive cultural life, a strong sense of identity and a wealth of stories from the profound to the subversive. The research project Putting Southwick on the Map has, since 2015, been working with community researchers and partners in Southwick to document its artistic and cultural life.

This exhibition features visual artworks lost, found and made during the project, a digital culture map and a workshop where people can experiment with the techniques developed by community researchers and discuss ideas provoked by the work.
