This online creative workshop explores beauty culture in Liverpool and considers if Instagram intensifies the pressure for young women to perform perfection online. Whether you have a scousebrow, pluck or wax, go for rollers or pincurls before a big night out, did it even really happen if you didn’t get the Instagram shot?

This event is aimed at young women between the ages of 18-35. To take part it’s important that you have a connection to the city of Liverpool. Are you local? Study or work in Liverpool? Or have you been on one or two scouse nights out? If the answer is yes to any of the above, we would love for you to join us.

The session incorporates exercises ranging from writing, to theatre and discussion. Everyone is free to be involved with as much or as little as they are comfortable with. There is no charge but please register below so the organiser knows how many people to expect.
