Did you ever think a breed of sheep could be a significant figure in Lincolnshire’s history? Discover how a humble breed of sheep, the Lincolnshire Longwool, has shaped an industry and influenced the history of Lincolnshire.
Join us for a virtual celebration of the beautiful Lincolnshire Longwool sheep. Discover the unique physical attributes which make them stand out when compared to other sheep breeds, and learn what wider changes in society mean for the future of the breed. The session will explore how the sheep and wool industry has changed Lincolnshire, and sheep breeds with it, and reflect on the place of rare breeds like the Lincoln Longwool on British farms today.
This online event will be using live captioning.
