Not News At Ten

15 November, 2019, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come and see the news as told by Bert Brecht, Samuel Beckett and Billie Holiday. No, they won’t be appearing in person, but each of these artists has influenced efforts to find new ways of reporting today’s top stories. ‘Not News At Ten’ experiments with new (and old) editorial formats, being a mixture of screenings, readings, exhibitions and discussions because journalism as we have known it only tells us what we already know. This is your chance to discuss journalism as humanism.

This event will be run by Journalism Futures, a network of staff and students, writers, film-makers and researchers at the University of East London.
