Mnemophrenia Film Night and Q&A

17 November, 2020, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This is an online event.

Join the live-streaming of the science fiction film Mnemophrenia. Mnemophrenia is a futuristic drama about a new psychosis that arises from advanced virtual reality technology, which causes people to be unable to distinguish between real and artificial memories.

The main question the film poses is: what is more real than your memories? If you are interested in different questions around human identity in the age of virtual reality then this is a film to watch.

Mnemophrenia was written and directed by Dr. Eirini Konstantinidou (Senior Lecturer in Film at University of Essex). The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Dr. Konstantinidou and Robin King (co-writer and actor).
