Lost rights, found justice?

November 17 - November 25

‘Lost rights, found justice?’ is a photography exhibition aimed at increasing public understanding of the rights and situation of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers through creative visual and legal tools. The exhibition will include photographs selected by a panel of experts in photography and human rights submitted through an open call.

The exhibition runs Saturday 18 November – Saturday 25 November. Weekday openings are 9:00am–7:00pm (6pm on Saturdays). Senate House is closed on Sunday 19 November and Tuesday 21 November from 1pm.

No booking required for exhibition. Book for launch and workshops below.

Exhibition launch

Friday 17 November 4:30pm–6:00pm

This event will take place in the second floor lobby of Senate House.

The opening event will feature a guided commentary with our experts enabling audiences to expand their knowledge of the legal framework in an accessible way.

Photography workshop

Saturday 18 November 2:00pm–4:00pm

This workshop will take place in room 246 of Senate House.

Workshop by documentary photographer Kevin McElvaney on his #RefugeeCameras project.
