Illuminating the museum: lost and found
17 November, 2017, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Fusion Arts and Luxmuralis bring a light and sound spectacular to the streets outside the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, a son et lumière on the theme of lost and found. Artists have worked closely with staff, curators, educators, outreach and researchers to identify objects, images and sounds from the collections of Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Pitt Rivers Museum and Bodleian Libraries to form ‘lost and found’.
Lost and found forms part of Lost Late: Night at the Museums and is part of this years Being Human Festival event at the Pitt Rivers and Oxford University Museum of Natural History in association with TORCH. Illuminating the museum 2017 will adorn the facade of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History to accompany the evening event to be experienced free by attendees and passers-by alike.
