Facing History

15 November, 2019, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

What did the convicts Britain sent to Australia look like? Drop in to explore facial, racial, age, gender, and disability diversity among runaway convicts in 1830s New South Wales. Create your own convict profile, see new portraits based on official newspaper descriptions of tattoos, scars, and other features, and help us give faces to the official records by drawing your own portraits.
