Climate Crisis: Action and the Arts

20 November, 2019, 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Join us in the Soho Poly Theatre for a very special Being Human event in conjunction with Climate Change Theatre Action, 2019 – a worldwide series of readings of short climate change plays to coincide with this autumn’s UN Climate Change Conference. This lunchtime event begins with a reading of three short plays by internationally-commissioned writers. Sara Ayech, Senior Campaign Strategist for Greenpeace, will then lead a discussion on how writers and artists can engage with the climate crisis.

This event is part of ‘Digging Deeper at the Soho Poly’, a series of lunchtime talks, workshops, and performances designed to disrupt our everyday routines, and our everyday patterns of thinking.
