In 2018 13.9% of global migrants were under the age of 18, many travelling alone and many experiencing detention in prisons and camps. In this event, which will include an exhibition and a series of film screenings, talks and workshops, researchers will show and discuss films made by children, and images produced by professional photographers and filmmakers in the last decade of global mobility.
Workshops will invite children and young people, families and local community groups to use photography, storytelling and ideas of colour and place to think about the idea of home and what locality looks like through the eye of the camera.
This event is part of the ‘Moving Stories: Discovering Lives Lived Differently’ festival hub organised by the University of Lincoln.
Please email the organiser if you are interested in attending this event.
