Chatter Boxes (Afternoon)

This is a socially distanced in person event.

This invitation-only event explores ‘treasured objects and their global connections’. Does your family speak languages of Africa, the Caribbean or other non-European countries? Spoken word and creative writing workshop at Penrhyn Castle, will discover unexpected language links with old and New Worlds. Participants will have a chance to find their own words.

For those who can’t attend in person, watch this space for a recording of the event and online access when available.

This event is part of the Being Human series ‘Mind Your Languages’ run by Race Council Cymru in partnership with Bangor University. ‘Mind Your Languages’ explores Black Asian and Minority Ethnic languages spoken in North Wales amongst UK families of colonial diaspora.
