Astronomy and the meaning of life

21 November, 2017, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

What did the sky-watchers of the ancient world think about the night sky, and its implications for human existence? In this lecture Alister McGrath, Professor of Divinity at Gresham College will consider how the great discoveries of Copernicus, Kepler, and Galileo changed things – including our understanding of God, philosophy and of the meaning of life.

This a free lecture with admission on a first-come first-served basis. It will also be live-streamed online.
