A flower for Oscar Wilde

25 November, 2017, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Did you know that Oscar Wilde was an inmate at Reading Prison in the late 1800s? If you are aged 16-25 and part of the LGBTQ+ community, join the University of Reading in creating an installation dedicated to Oscar Wilde. Made up of 3D printed flowers created by workshop participants, the artwork will be displayed in relation to the ‘Artist as Critic’ exhibition running at Reading Museum as part of ‘Reading: International Autumn 2017’.

This event is run by University of Reading’s ArtLab in collaboration with SupportU, Reading Museum, and Reading: International.

This event is part of the series ‘Revealing hidden stories’
